Game 12: Pylons v. BlacksheepWhere
Thursday night hockey? Obviously the league got the memo to schedule our weekend game early so we could have a party Saturday night. The game is on Thursday December 6 @ 8:15pm on the green rink 'yonder the North Shore. On Thursday. At 8:15pm. Thursday.
The 'Blacksheep Christmas/Jersey $$' Party is Saturday December 8th. Enjoy the Canucks v. Penguins Hockey Night in Canada Crosby-rama on the big ass TV-soundsystem at 6:30pm. Bring your friends. Cheer on the Vancouver Luongos. Would you like a beverage with that? What better chartitable cause than an event to raise money for hockey sweaters for grown men. After the game we turn the music up, tap sponsered ale, syphon money from our friends and family, get sweaty and come away Sunday morning with ball hockey shins, foggy ringing memories and enough money to buy custom white sheepskins. Sounds like fun.
Wear
This may be the game last game we Sheep don our mish-mash of white jerseys. The Plyons dress in black fronted with a flaming traffic cone.
Us & Them
Over the years we are Hank and Daniel Sedin even versus the Pylons. 2-2-1, identical in most measureable catagories. Right down to the facial hair. This game is a rubber match. Whichever team wants to beat the other team more will win the game. It's in the numbers. The betting line says a one goal game. Sheep say beat them by as many as you can. Go directly for the throat of the traffic cone. Lean.

I'm in as long as the ref doesn't give rob my goals; even if he did give one of the sweetest passes of all time with only 11 seconds left - i have enough trouble as it is.

Yes. Jesse and I were hoping on playing together in this game. We've had a few games outside the sheep, and the chemistry is evident. I'm thinking start us together early, score a few, and then break us apart later to spread out. Any takers?
